One Man's Meat is Another Man's Poison

today i was the table topics chair for HELP TMC
and the topic chosen was the title above =p

kudos to the chief judge for choosing the hardest proverb hahaha =p

so during the table topics session,most were able to use the phrase correctly
i learnt a few things during the competition


just like how some ppl like cars while others may think that shopping is better
or other examples like canon vs nikon,water vs sweet drinks,etc

i learnt that what i may like others may not,so dont force things to others =p

women can't drive?

i believe it's written by a guy and i feel its quite funny but sexist at the same time LOL

Step1
First, women let dogs in their cars. They let those yippy little things run around, sitting on top of another yippy little one equals a big reason why women can't drive.

Step2
Next, women let friends in their cars. Men have their eyes on the road at all times, regardless of the discussion. Women on the other hand, have their focus on everyone except the world rushing towards them. Do us a favor and focus driving.

Step3
Another simple reason is that women obstruct their vision with dangling crap. Whether it be 10 pounds of beads or stuffed animals, these women would actually be better of driving backwards. Until women ditch decorating their windows, they are better off of the road.

Step4
A good reason for women to stay off the road is because they use the mirrors to look at themselves. While they go through metamorphosis between stop lights, they tend to pay less attention to what's happening to their surroundings.

Step5
Women need to stop texting while driving! If you see one texting, make sure to give her some room. Be sure to text back OMG and LOL! Kidding.

Step6
Another good reason why women can't drive is because they have no interest in cars. It's only a means of transportation from point A to B. You can't do anything well at something you know nothing about, right?

Step7
Women also have no spatial awareness. The have to realize that Ipods and cars do not work the same way. You cannot press "Skip" to skip 4 lanes across. You also can't press "shuffle" and expect to parallel park. It just doesn't work that way.

Step8
Lastly, women cannot drive because they do not have the driving gene. It's purely genetic. As for us men, we simply miss the waxing gene. The only solution for women is car insurance.

ps: most of the steps above are either true or don't make sense at all =p

sem 2, 2010 is over, well....long over
means 3rd year is over
left with 4th year and beyond

really thank God for what He has blessed me

hols also mean that i can catch up with sleep and finally settle the editing of pics stretching since september =p

why is everybody getting into a relationship?
its like every now and then i hear about friends suddenly in relationships =p
like one after another hahhaha

with that kind of rate,kinda feel jealous a lil lo lol =p

dedication

1st time,stayed back and did experiment until almost 8 =p
lol,this is life of engineering.
where ppl are expected to know math formulas like 123 and use super awesome machines like no1 else can

but of course, being an engineer is way more than just formulas and nerds
there's a secret ingredient - dedication

imagine an engineer working on a project, say work on a F1 car
no dedication, the car will end up like shit
got dedication, the car will kick ass (Brawn GP,still remember?)

anyway,my group, we are currently working on a wind tunnel project where we test sports balls for their drag coefficient and Magnus effect. Thank God we have already finished halfway and no major crap encountered =D

ball is coming.....kinda excited about it to the extent i keep hounding jarrod for advice and tips,sorry bro! =p

but yeah,finding stuff for prom aint easy man
girls say finding dresses heels and doing their hair is crazy

hari raya!

hari raya is coming!woohoo for me cos i get a holiday, badly deserving one =p

it's a time of many people,especially those working in urban areas to balik kampung,go back meet their parents,seek forgiveness,enjoy the food etc.

now, in US however,things are different, they cant celebrate cos of 9/11
but what saddens me is the decision to burn the holy book of the Muslims, the Koran

it was said that on that day, one church will be burning the Koran led by a prominent pastor
now,it saddens me as the Bible teaches to respect everyone irrespective of race and religion i.e. be the salt and light of the world
aren't we as Christians we are supposed to be the ones that is supposed to make a difference?

remember 'love thy neighbour as yourself' as stated in the Bible?
anyway,what these ppl are doing is totally the opposite man!
by burning the Koran,what are you trying to prove?
is this how you,as ambassadors of Christ act?
you want to show God's Love,but i personally do not feel that burning holy books show love man
i sincerely pray that God will show u the right way to solve this conflict =)

To the potential burners, please do not burn holy books,be sensitive of other people also yeah =)
we want to be salt and light,lets show God's Love the right way yeah =)
